POE-S208TG, Web Smart 8 port IEEE802.3at compliant (IEEE802.3af down compatible) 10/100Mbps 15.4Watts Power Over Ethernet Switch along with 2 Gigabit SFP Uplink interface, it delivers both Ethernet data and power over network cables such as Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6, etc. which depends on actual requirements due to the power lost during the cable delivery.
The 8 ways PoE switch is a network switch that has built-in Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) going tow work with Powered Device (PD) which consistute a PoE supported IP system such as IP CCTV Surveillance, Wireless Access Point (AP), VoIP Phone System, etc.
Advance detection and classification is usually a start-up process before running PoE connection, which will figure out if the PDs is PoE-enabled or PoE-disabled and how much power they require to run regularly. So, under this principle, it protects powered devices against damge of underload, under-powering or incorrect installation and ensures that POE is disconnected from the cable if the PD is unplugged.
